Earn some cash for college without compromising your training like the following jobs could do.

Painting. Yes, often a great paying gig, but look at the downside. Inhaling dangerous paint fumes can eventually cause permanent brain damage, and walking up and down ladders all day increases your chance of falling from a high place and injuring yourself. [True story: one of my former teammates fell off a painting ladder and tore his quad wide open.]

Life Guard. Sitting in the sun for eight hours can drain your energy and dehydrate your body. Also, being inactive, sitting in a chair for hours can make you lose focus and that mental edge you’ve been gaining on your opponents.

Fast Food Restaurants. Long hours and some unhealthy food. You could be tempted to give up your nutritional goals and good eating habits.
