Two shoes in one get all your training needs done.
After a long baseball season, you deserve a break.
But to keep your game fierce, you’ve got to get
after it off the diamond, too. Minnesota Twins first
baseman Justin Morneau knows that building leg
strength during the off-season is important, and
he gears up in a pair of kicks he trustsReebok’s
new SmoothFit SelectRide.
This cross-trainer switches from running
mode to training mode with the push of a button
[located on the side of the shoe]. In running
mode, the shoe adapts for longer distances by
providing 20 percent more cushioning. In training
mode, it keeps the soles of the feet lower to the
ground, so it’s firmer and offers better support
for lateral motion.
The system is based on the original Reebok
Pump, which is now located by the heel, so you can
pump air into the shoe with each step you take.
